Okay, that tutorial (I can't post links, the "thread-235865-1-1" seriously needs a massive, colossal warning label that all your data (all of it) including my damn TB backups and photos will be nuked. (though photos except stuff I took out of the hidden folder today [which was a lot] was backed up by dropbox thank god)
Who thought wiping all the user data automatically was a good idea?
Is there any way I can recover said data? Any recovery tools from the store? MiFlash seems to have specifically overwritten a certain section of memory, rather than just throwing files at the phone for it to deal with so it's unlikely my stuff is yet scrubbed away.
Also, what happened to the nice blur effect on the notification drop down? And now I can't get root.
I actually preffered the vendor ROM at this point...
