Hello everyone!. The fingerprint scanner does not work on the latest MIUI 12 versions. The display after replacement is not the original one. We tried to figure it out. the following display module is installed: dsi_visionox_fhd_r66456_f11_cmd_display. it is in the DTBO section. when trying to add fingerprints, the system reboots and errors with the application: displayfeature. tried adb shell su -c setenforce 0. behavior changed. there is currently no Fatal signal 11 in displayfeature. but it is as before DisplayFeatureManager: initProxyLocked failed. Help solve the problem with the fingerprint scanner

2 ways.
1st Replace screen with original part.
2nd Sit on MiUI 11.
Not .eu fault. That is from official Xiaomi RoM.

what works for miui 11 I know. I want someone to help me fix this on a younger miui. used to think the problem was in the drivers. was not in the drivers. dwewers are present in the system. Therefore, I would like the specialists from the Xiaomi.Eu team to help with the solution of this issue. A lot of people have their screens replaced.

There is no solution when you have not original display module. Very known error.
3rd solution use AOSP aka clean android firmwares. Here devs are unable to fix this problem.

I know about this error. I want to find a solution. there was an idea that it was a problem with the drivers. it turned out that no. that the problem is in applications. my level is not enough to solve this problem. but a lot of people have already changed screens for non-original ones due to their affordable prices. so I wanted programmers and developers of such an excellent product as firmware for the phone to pay a little of their attention to this issue. for my part, I can provide all the logs to solve the problem and test on my phone. a big problem for many people. I hope for the understanding and help of the developers.

Again, this is known issue. Many months ppl request help with this trouble. Real answer hold official Xiaomi ROM devs. They ignore it due to: "use only official service and parts". Very dead end. Here devs mostly implement known set of options not from scratch. They are not official devs.
Better seek help on official forum and from ppl who develop "clear android" for K20pro/Mi9Tpro. They maybe have some works around.
Just saying " do something" will not help. That issue fixing seems not worth devs time and exist from 12 MiUI start.
They just doing their job how they can.
Don't take this to close. This .eu ROMs just "as is". And problem deeper in original MiUI ROM.

Click few times on kernel info, in settings, then enter in Cit menu. Scroll down until two options for fingerprint. You have to choose FAIL. Then format or reboot and try again to add fingerprint from start

Hello. Have you checked what exactly works or is this an assumption? there is no way to reinstall the system completely, just to try it. I would like to know for sure that this will work.

Hi,
I had faced same problem and I found simple way to.fix. but it is not permanent. If you hard reset your device you have to repeat this process.

First download miui 11 eu rom for your device and clean install it.
Then complete setup and add your fingerprints to your device.
then download miui latest eu rom (mine 12.5) and go to setting and choose that file and update your device. May be you have to select file on twrp. ater the update Just clean cache and reboot your device.

Now you can add your fingerprint in miui 12.5 without any issue (my device work fine now my device is mi 9)
But if you reset device you have to follow all steps above. Thank you
