Hi everyone,
I recently received my Redmi Pro from Aliexpress - it had a xiaomi.eu rom pre-installed. I noticed that when I pressed 'Add fingerprint' in settings, it redirects to the 'Choose screen lock' setting page, where you get a choice between Pattern, PIN and Password.
I have since wiped the device several times and updated to the latest xiaomi.eu version (6.11.17 Beta) and the problem still persists. Is there anything I can do about this, or do you think it is a hardware problem?

I just worked out what to do - I had to choose one of the screen locking optiosn first (i.e. pattern, pin, password) and it then prompted me to add my fingerprint.
