I have fully working POCO F3. Xiaomi will not provide HyperOS 2 for it so Xiaomi.eu won't be able to port it to alioth. My question is about what to do with old phones like mine? The current HyperOS 1, after some google updates, breaks the reset button so it stops working. More than one people raised this bug in the bug session but it was dismissed so I assume there won't be further time investment old phones. So, what are you guys doing? Switching to stock, moving to other ROMs, etc? Any suggestions?

If xiaomi.eu team rejects the bug report, it's likely a deeper seated problem with the base ROM, which they have very little influence on.
The standard solution in this case with an old phone like that would be just buying a new phone. If you don't want that but want a new ROM, you could have a look at the xda section for the phone and look for community-ran A15 builds of aosp roms like Cherish, PixelExp, graphene or similar.
