In Progress Galaxy Nexus version 4.1.1 ringtone problem & other concerns

I just put this on my phone. I realized that I was not hearing the phone ring when someone called that was not given their own custom ringtone. I was using my own default ringtone so I changed it to one that came with the program and that seemed to work. I then tried putting in another of my own ringtones that I knew worked. But the phone keeps using the ringtone that I replaced. I tried rebooting the phone and that did not work. Any suggestions. This is not a big deal but I was wondering if anyone else is having the same problem?

Also when I put this program on my phone it did not see my previous apps in the market. I had to install them all again. The last time I did a major update they automatically reappeared.

One more concern. Is there anyway to stop useless ads from popping up on my pull down menu.
I never had this happen before?
Build is 2.8.17 JR003H.

I believe ringtone bug was fixed today. I'll have to double check once I get back to my laptop.

It was kinda fixed... it rings, but it's 2 - 3 seconds delayed from when the call comes through and the phone start vibrating.

Ads ? what ads popping up, unless they are app related - if so you can turn off app notifications > toggles > long press more > customise status bar notifications > here you can see that you can turn off notifications and have them only displayed in the status bar.

I figured out that the ads are coming from an ap on my phone.

The custom ringtone for default is still not working. Are they working on this?

A temporary solution I found was that if you select the ringtone you want through the music app, it will apply properly. Also if you don't see the file, try adjusting the filter settings in the music app.

I tried that it still did not work. I used music app that did not work either.

I also found there is no way to save a website to bookmarks without copy and paste method. There is no direct method to save as bookmark from page?
