For Mi Connect problem, you can disable Mi Connect temporarily by

pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.xiaomi.mi_connect_service
until this problem is fixed by Xiaomi

My installation was clean, with a format data, and when I try to verify WhatsApp, it tells me to use the official app. I'll see if WhatsApp support replies, but I don't know if it's because of the update or WhatsApp itself.

The problem with Whatsapp is not related to the rom, it is the application that for some reason stops working. My Whatsapp logged in normally before, and the last time I did a clean install, I had the same problem. I solved it with root + tricky store module.

So the solution is to hide the open bootloader, but I don't know if Magisk and the module are compatible with this ROM with android 15.

I would not like to root and the support only says to download the official application, something I have done from the beginning.

I did this when I was still on A14, and upgraded to A15 without clearing data. Unfortunately WhatsApp doesn't seem to work for some people with an unlocked bootloader and this is one of the few alternatives.
 
I have the usual problem with Whatsapp on my MI13 Pro after reset, clean installation. For now I solved by installing on my tablet Whatsapp with the usual SIM and then passed it to the phone through scanning. With root, Magisk and LSPosed I couldn’t install it despite passing all the checks.

I'll have to do it like this for now, it's a shame because it's the only app that causes problems, not even the bank's apps cause problems.
 
I tried updating the Xiaomi EU Inject APK, but this error pops up. Do I need to wait for the next ROM version to include the updated APK?

Hey do anyone know how to update from 1.1.4.0.VNCEUXM to hos 2? Cuz when I tried to - install_upgrade - it got stuck in bootloop You are not supposed to directly upgrade an official ROM to a custom ROM without format data.

Hi guys,
I also had problems trying to log into my whatsapp account after doing a clean install on some previous roms on the xiaomi 14 ultra.

After almost a week of whatsapp testing and testing session attempts and lockouts, I found the solution that maybe it will work for you too!

From what I saw the problem is to have the bootloader open and have enabled two-step verification in whatsapp. I received the sms with the code but when in the next step I was asked for the pin of the 2-step verification gave error even if I put the correct code.

Finally what I did was to activate my whatsapp account on another phone I had and delete from there the 2 step verification and the registration email.

The next day when I was able to request activation sms again I did it again on my xiaomi 14 ultra with the bootloader unlocked and the rom xiaomi eu and it WORKED AT FIRST TIME!

You are right. But nevertheless, the fix will no included in the ROMs. The team made that clear.

It concerns the Global version of Xiaomi 14.

You can delete the modemfirmware.img before flashing a new ROM to keep the fix or just install the fix after every update.
