could you tell us in more detail what exactly was broken and is it possible to fix it? probably even for a beer (on my part)

At first the expansion swipe gesture was non-functional at all, now it works but only partially.

In any case, the old notification shade was deprecated ever since the new System UI Plugin Control center was introduced.
Now the feature is obsolete and unmaintained, and there's zero interest in providing technical support for a dead feature.

The only issue I've noticed so far with version 2.0.9.0VNBCNXM on the Xiaomi 14 Pro is the WiFi signal, which seems a bit unstable.

one thing with the old control panel is that it works better when you are in ultra power saver, new control panel doesnt allow you to switch on bluetooth (on 1.0 atleast), also old control panel handles showing data usage way better

Is your Xiaomi 14 rooted? If so, have you tried replacing the Gallery apk and the GalleryEditor apk with the original apks of the original Global Rom? Because slow motion works with the original Global Rom!

I don't know. This didn't happen before when updating the firmware. Recovery with Chinese characters appeared. I had to reinstall TWRP.

Hi, I just installed the latest software HOUJI_OS2.0.9.0.VNCCNXM on my X14 and phone cant set up my mobile network. It recognizes sim to a certain extent but it can't connect to network.
After googling a bit, I decided to take modem.img from the latest EEA rom and replace original modem.img file from xiaomi.eu rom. I plan to flash it with fastboot method. I rly hope it will work....

And
I used the mac .sh updater and I can tell that my wifi has improved a lot now it's connected without any issues I will test the Bluetooth again tomorrow

What's strange is that the slow motion works in the Xiaomi 14 (houji) with 960fps, but not with 120fps and 240fps. Maybe some entries in the build.prop are incorrect.

Want to upgrade Hyperos2, when phone in the fastboot and connect to the PC, the PC screen show waiting for device....usb cable try few already but still same in the screen wait for device ...anything I making mistake ? Diver has installed.

I have the same problem. Tried everything I could think of. The device is visible on my laptop, but keep getting the Waiting for device in the Command Prompt...

Because recovery.img is now part of the ROM. Otherwise users updating from Android 14 will have a booting problem.

I had all my call recordings under
Internal shared storage > MIUI > sound_recorder > call_rec

at least so far before upgrading to Hyper OS2 (I've come from HyperOS 1, Xiaomi 14 ultra, goes without saying it was also xiaomi.eu rom). They are all gone now. And I searched through ALL of the internal folders with the File Manager and they cannot be found anywhere. Several years of archived recordings now gone and can only be replayed in the "Recorder App". By opening the recorder app it sees all of the recordings, but somehow under file manager I cannot find them anywhere on the phone (I'm not rooted). Issue is that I used to search through them in the File Manager and looking through them in the recorder app is a PITA.
What happened? Where did they move it? Is there any setting to save them to the old location again?

Just came to report that after some hours of experimentation with our tester crew, we found where the issue was.
It's a bug that was neglected by Xiaomi in the Mi Video app, slow-mo videos from specific devices aren't identified correctly.
Patched for next release.
