HyperOS 2.0 HyperOS 2.0 STABLE RELEASE

Hi,
I'm experiencing a problem with my Houji after switching to HyperOS 2 that I can't manage to set a different launcher instead of the default one (in my case Nova Launcher). The moment in Settings I choose another launcher it reverts to the default one. I can go in to make settings in Nova, but when I press the middle desktop button it reverts to the default launcher and the default launcher stays set no matter which launcher I choose in Settings. Is there a specific setting I should do to make it work? I've never had this problem before. Knowing the problems with Nova I thought there was no more support for the launcher, so I tried with other launchers, but had the same result. Thank you
No issues here also using Nova, I updated without wipe so settings stayed as they were.

Maybe try: settings-apps-manage apps, find "systemlauncher" and delete default settings.

Something like this, guess you know what i mean, my system is nog in English, so im guessing the setting names.

Hey do anyone know how to update from 1.1.4.0.VNCEUXM to hos 2? Cuz when I tried to - install_upgrade - it got stuck in bootloop
Did you install Xiaomi.eu rom on top of European (global) rom?
You also say there was a bootloop.
Both are different roms
You have to format

u know this is only for series 14 and unlocked boobloader and previously on xiaomi.eu rom?

the poor reading comprehension and the little concern are noticeable

ONLY FOR SERIES 14, WITH XIAOMI.EU ROM

Probably "Android System" causing the same problem for you when you check battery right?
Sadly there's no way to check which apk or program is draining it.

Couldnt install final Hyper os beta to stable version. Its giving multiple errors.

Unless you have details about your issue, there's no point in repeating what others already complained about.
None of us notice any unusual drainage.

Thanks devs

Xiaomi 14 gang, give us your experience (battery, ai features overall smoothness etc.) as the rest of us still waiting

I had some errors during the upgrade but the error in on my Mac. Will provide later. Maybe this issue caused these functionality to not work properly:
I lost my wallpapers and can't add new ones anymore (settings doesn't even show up) and some buttons don't work in the settings menu. Also I can't swipe down from the top right to show the menu for wifi, lighting, flashlight, etc. both sides of the top only shows the notifications.
I lost the ability to call but sms works. This issue
happened before the upgrade but I don't know what caused it since it was working fine yesterday.

Hi, I try to do an upgrade on my 14 Ultra [Aurora] from OS1.0.24.0.UNACNXM to the OS2.0 with a manual fastboot (power button + volume Down) and called the command macos_install_upgrade.sh in Mac and I get these warning for all the Super img files:

Warning: skip copying super image avb footer due to sparse image.
Sending 'super' (507788 KB) OKAY [ 14.597s]
Writing 'super' OKAY [ 0.010s]

The system reboot and I can use the phone but I have these issues:
- When you swipe down from the top right, you should pull a menu with the network, light, lighting, payment wallet, and all sort of shortcuts you can customize. This menu is gone. When I swipe down from the top right, I get the same as the top left which is the list of notifications.
- I can't access my wallpapers anymore and the menu in the settings isn't there anymore.
- Like everyone, the icons on the homepage are tiny and you can't configure that.
- also I can't make call. The problem appeared before the upgrade but only in the past 3 days. I didn't have any updates which I can't explain. SMS works. People can't even call me, it doesn't even go to voicemail.

Anyone can help?

[UPDATE]: I try to reinstall again but this time I went to fastboot throught adb command "./adb reboot bootloader"
I don't think that's the root cause but somehow everything is back to how it was before the upgrade with the same issue with not being to make calls.

I want to say thank you to the developers. I just updated my Chinese Xiaomi 14 (houji) without any problems and Hyper OS 2.0 is working good without any big problems.

I'm happy with the update and the battery life.
I did notice 1 thing that others might want to check if there is "android system" drain.

In notification history I see a lot off notifications from "find device" really a lot.

Although according to the security overview find device is disabled.

It's not causing massive drain for me, but it seems not right?

Has anyone issues installing GPay Module? I get a couldn't install (-1000) error. I tried re-downloading the apk but the issue remains.
I'm on Aurora if that matters and I upgraded from the latest stable with no wipes.
Any solutions, or shall I go the data wipe route?
Thanks

If you install with from third-party app, it won't work. Install app using system File Manager.
