HyperOS 2.0 HyperOS 2.0 STABLE RELEASE

@Syncopated If you were not using the Xiaomi.eu ROM previously, you are expected to do a clean install (I try to guess, it is not clear in your post what you did)
I was definitely not using a xiaomi.eu ROM previously and was using the official ROM, as I stated originally, unless you are talking about another reply than https://xiaomi.eu/community/threads/hyperos-2-0-stable-release.74372/post-738254

I was also definitely using only clean install (linux_install_and_format_data.sh). A non-clean install (linux_install_upgrade.sh) on top of official ROM would be nonsensical so I thought this aspect goes without saying especially since I was not asking for help but reporting a suspected bug after finding a workaround.

I'm not sure which part you found unclear. Perhaps it was not obvious that by "CN HyperOS 1.0" I mean the official ROM from xiaomi that came with the phone, so I edited the reply to say "official CN HyperOS 1.0"

Anyone have any idea on where to look for the changelogs of each release for a device?

With 2.0.8.0 on the 14 ultra the option "always charge to 80%" is not working anymore. The battery now charge to 99 or 100% with that option on.

Vermeer: after an update (install_update) the poco f6 pro does not recognize the simcard anymore. Beside that the screen to type in the pin is not showing the keyboard (all black).
How to solve this?
Came from eu rom os1.0

Just changed the background (standard black) to another one. Now the text on the screen is black and I am able to type in the pin. Where to change (only) the color of the text on the lockscreen to white?

Hi there, everyone knows when is option to "connect file trasfer as default"? Every time I connect to PC, must change it in options. Thanks in advance

Lsposed and Pengeek are working on my side, look for the right versions lsposed 1.9.3 (custom) I think working for me and Pengeek you can also find a "special" version working fine.

For me also no issues with notifications (dirty flashing for quite some time/versions), now on 2.0.7.0 without issues.
Hi bro, which lsposed custom do you use?

Hi all. I have a Xiaomi 14 with xiaomi.eu hyperOS.1.0.7.0. Wanted to upgrade the system but after restarting in TWRP type: 3.7.1_12 xiaomi14_v8.9_A14 houji - I cannot see the .zip file in the sdcard folder. Actually nowhere in any folder. somebody is saying that the TWRP issue is this. Any solution or any ideas how to upgrade the system? Fastboot is not an option.... ( I don't want to wipe the data all the time when I upgrade the system)

Thank you for this release!

However... I realise this has been mentioned already, but "Mi Connect keeps stopping" message popping up every few minutes taking over the screen is going to drive me mad, is there anything at all we can do about this? The lead developer has said there is nothing they can do... which makes me concerned that this problem will persist into future releases too.

It will persist until I have HyperOS 2.0 with that problem to be able to investigate.

For people experiencing the "Mi Connect keeps stopping" message:

I was able to stop the message popping up by disabling "Xiaomi Interconnectivity"
I also revoked my consent in the Privacy section of the Interconnectivity options, and then cleared the app data of the Mi Connect app, though I am unsure if that was necessary.

Hope this helps someone!

How about notification delays/not coming? Can it be fixed? Its 2024, Xiaomi should get in the game. Cant believe this bug still exists :)

system launcher crashes/restarts, when moving app icons between screen, organizing into folders - it's random sometime not restarts.
houji. hos2.0

You can use screen cast? Because I was debloated mi_connect and I can´t cast to TV, I think both are related
