do you get the 6x6 layout , 5x5 layout or is it the base standard and dense layout option .

i like my device 6x6 , and very small to utilize all screen real estate..

Ive reported this before but someone else replied it was working so iv let it rest.
But it has never been working for me on any rom version as far as i know.

I have upgraded Redmi note 13 pro 5G
from [ Garnet HyperOS 1.0.16.0 miui-eu ] which is very stable and less lagging
to [ Garnet HyperOS 2.0.1.0 miui-eu ] by update only (dirty update).

Lagging and icon arranging issues are the results.

I would like to go back to HyperOS 1.0.1.16 and wait there until HyperOS 2.0 for Garnet is really stable.
Questions are

1. Can I just rollback by fastboot back to HyperOS 1.0.16.0 without clear data ?
2. If Clear Data is "Must", anyone upgrade from 1.0.16.0 to 2.0.1.0 like me but with clear data and not see issues like me?

it's been like that for me since hos 1 tbf with like 4 other versions thats why i want to know what logs should i take to help the devs figure out what could be going on as i met some people that have had a similar experience

If you installed ROM from fastboot, very likely you don't have TWRP. If you don't have TWRP, then OTA won't work. Install TWRP or flash it using fastboot.

Downgrading Android version or security patch without data format is not supported on any ROM.

My device is just updated via fastboot updatescript, same problems, lagging and small icons
