New Mail Does Not Update Server Until Refreshed

Mail config as IMAP does not sinc with server when deleting /reading email
It happens to me in 7.5.9.0/6.8.18 and 6.8.25

Steps to reproduce
Config imap settings (Zoho mail in my case)
Set Push as sync interval
receive an email and read/delete it
it does not update server until you refresh in the mail app

I really like the mail app but it's unusable this way, I have not tested it with another provider, but typemail and cloudmagic works ok with the same config.
I have tried allowing mail app unrestricted battery use and it doesn't matter. Also allowing mail app every possible permission.

Could be with your mail service, works for google and other custom private mail service I have. 4 emails on my device and works as intended.
Have you checked the mail providers website that it doesn't have any options disabled?

I have tried cloudmail and typemail with same settings, both working as intended
I tried a gmail account with 10 min sync (no push option available) and same results, delete a mail in the phone and 20 minutes later the same mail continues to show up in gmail account. if I force refresh (drag down) in the phone then it deletes the mail.
