Mi 8 se. Need some help

Hello guys. I've orderd a mi 8 se for my mother and I tought that this phone will get a global rom, but I start to understand that a global rom might not be launched.
So, I wanna install the xiaomi eu rom at the phone.
I did not flashed a xiaomi phone for a while. my question is what are the steps to flash this phone? which recovery to use and if there are any things I need to know.

Hey man can you help me out here?
I just got the mi 8 se and unlocked the bootloader already (didn't have to wait 2 weeks), but I'm worried to flash custom roms because the MI 8 and MI 8 SE fastboot updates are missing from here http://en.miui.com/a-234.html

So if something goes wrong I can't go back on the official firmware? (usually I used to go back downloading the fastboot rom on miui.en + mi flash)

EDIT:
By the way I just noticed that they removed all the chinese stable and dev fastboot downloads... why!?

I discovered that you can download the chinese version in the chinese site http://www.miui.com/zt/miuirom/download.php

Do you have MiFlash on you pc? If so, you can go back using this method. In this you can choose restore , and then you can get official rom from Xiaomi china
