mi2s MAC spoofing

I didn't find similar thread, so I'm creating a new one..

I'm a happy owner of an mi2s

I read that on android devices it's possible to change mac address,
so i tried by myself, following few internet guides, but unfortunately nothings worked,
I even tried exploring the file system, searching for some confg file to edit but I wasn't lucky..

do you guys now if this is possible on mi2s?

There are reasons why MAC is hardcoded and it shouldnt change and its illegal btw.

Why illegal? Look I have TDB and I wannt to pair booth systems with my car BT, the easier way will be to change BT mac address in one system. Or exists better way?

I thought you thought on wifi mac address but still why do you need to change mac address,where is point in that,anyway just copy bluetooth config file so same pairing info will be on both systems.

You can find config in /data/misc/bluedroid/

..yes, I intended wifi MAC address

btw I don't need it for something in particular, except from amazing my cousin if i get to log in his mac filtered lan,
I'm just curios if that is possible even with mi2s..

ps:I even read of android rom that changes mac at every connection for
anonymity reason..

if u use a old version of cm11(before jul 5) you can:
1) disable wifi
2) write the mac to /sys/devices/platform/primaconfig/mac_address
3) enable wifi

after jul5 it doesn't work anymore because I switched to wcnss_service.
