The Xiaomi Mi3 is going to be one of the very first smartphone to incorporate the new Wi-Fi 802.11ac standard which runs on the far less-busy 5GHz band, and provides higher speeds than your conventional smartphone.
802.11 ac is first use in snapdragon 800, the speed will be faster 3 times than WIFI 802.11 n, but you need a ac router.
