I think I've narrowed my issue down to me!
Its certainly my mistake that's led to my issue, I'm assuming that I messed up my device partitions somehow.

I have been trying to flash/recover the phone via the MiFlash tool and it is becoming a PITA.
I cannot get the drivers to install on Windows 11, even via direct install with Device Manager.

Is there any method to use Mi Recovery tools like MiFlash on Windows 11?
This has me stumped. I can access fastboot, I can flash new ROM and the flashtool confirms that the flash is successful.

However the phone then just enters a bootloop.
I can boot to recovery and flash alternative recovery but.

I cannot get the device to boot

Finally, did it in the wrong order. Format data first and then install ROM. Thanks mate!
Result is the same for:

a) TWRP: Install ROM, TWRP: Format Data, reboot to System

b) TWRP: Format Data, TWRP: Install ROM, reboot to System

But in case (b) you make your life harder because by Formatting Data you also wipe everything from Internal memory hence you must use USB OTG or sideloading or something to provide ROM zip file to TWRP for flashing

In case (a) you simply flash ROM zip file from Internal memory, eg Download folder and then you Format Data (before rebooting to System!)

Format data
Reboot to twrp, connect to your PC and xopy paste the rom on your phone storage.
Just install it and u r ready to go

You can do that way but no need to complicate:

- have the downloaded ROM on Internal memory (I always download from the mobile hence there is no need to copy the revovery/zip ROM to PC and later from PC to mobile)
- boot to TWRP
- flash the ROM
- stay in the TWRP and Format Data
- then reboot to System

Please understand that Xiaomi.eu ROM does not flash to /Data.
Hence there is nothing wrong if you Format Data AFTER flashing the ROM - but BEFORE rebooting to the System

Hence, no need for having the recovery/zip ROM on the PC and for copying it after formating and before flashing (as you do)

However, you are free to do any way you want

Just to thank the devs for the rom and the help I needed.

Flashed the 12.5.8 on haydn without any problems. I had an Mi11i and now I have a K40 Pro+. How great it is ahah. The Mi11i doesn't support google AR services... Now I have a complete functional device. Thank you all once again. Keep up the good work.

Mi 9T here with 12.5.2 and sometimes the swipe from bottom gesture do nothing, lock and unlock the phone and continue to do nothing, have to restart the system to make it work again.
The back gestures (from side to center) works fine, just the "home" gesture sometimes got problems with it. Is it some bug? because before I had weekly versions and sometimes it happened there too.

I can't change wallpaper on the stock launcher, it's just a black background. I tried from settings, themes app, launcher settings, no results

Mi9t 12.5.2

Update: solved by reinstalling the miui wallpaper app from Xiaomi ADB/fastboot tools

Hi,
I got a Mi 11 Lite 5G NE with stock EEA 12.5.7.0 firmware.
I unlocked it and flashed xiaomi.eu fastboot firmware 12.5.8.0.
It reboots to system after flash and everything is OK until I reboot manually : it starts then after a few seconds, it reboot to fastboot...
If I force reboot to recovery and choose to reboot to system, it reboots normally and then after a few seconds, reboots to recovery...
I flashed stock CN 12.5.8.0 firmware before flashing again xiaomi.eu firmware with no luck, same problem.
Is it possible that eea smartphone is incompatible with xiaomi.eu firmware ?

EDIT1 : I can use EEA, GLOBAL and CN stock firmwares without problem
EDIT2 : when xiaomi.eu restarts after manual reboot, I can't see the top bar and it doesn't ask to unlock the sim card then I hear a notification sound and finally it reboots itself.

I have a Mi11i EEA and I flashed xiaomi.eu without problems. Reboots are OK.

I don't know how to fix your problem. Did you unlock the zip file before the extract?

Will MIUI 12.5 stable for Mi MIX 3 (perseus) ever receive any update/but fixes? I am missing some things from previous weekly roms. I posted it to Bug but I want to know if I will ever receive it or should flash to last weekly version?

I'm having trouble downloading the latest update for mi 11 ultra. MIUI12.5V13.0.9.0SKACNXM
When i try to dl using the phones update feature it always says all mirrors are offline. It has been like this all week. Have tried a lot and my wifi is lightning.
So looking online today through google and also the 2 links at the start of this thread it seems there is no update available.
Anyone know what is going on with this?
I am wondering if the update was released but then removed or something

On my Mi10t pro, I can't receive or send MMS with the last version 12.5.8. SMS works fine.
Nobody else ?
Having the same issue here on a Poco F3 on the Koodo Network in Canada. I can receive MMS but any time I try to send, it says Network Not Ready. I've tried both the old APN settings for Koodo (Basically Telus' using sp.koodo.com instead of sp.telus.com, which works on my Whyred running Lineage 18.1) as well as the current Koodo settings (Which this rom has backwards -- Telus has the Koodo settings (other than sp.telus.com instead of sp.koodo.com) and Koodo has the Telus (with it being sp.koodo.com instead of sp.telus.com). Neither work correctly on the F3, and neither does adding Koodo's APN manually using the settings from their website. (https://www.koodomobile.com/en/help/setting-data-your-non-koodo-phone)

I'm on the final stable build of MIUI 12.5 Xiaomi.eu version.

My Whyred running Lineage 18.1 works using both the MIUI provided APN from the F3, as well as deleting them all and creating a new one using the information from Koodo's website. So this has to be MIUI 12.5+ specific, but likely not xiaomi.eu's fault. I posted to the MIUI forums. We'll see if anyone responds.

Edit: This is partially solved. There is a conflict issue when you have Google Messages installed on the phone along with the Mi Messaging app that it breaks MMS sending in both the Mi Messaging and Google Messages. If you uninstall Google Messages, SMS sending will work again. My guess this is something to do with Xiaomi's Security app and they must fix it on their end. While they're at it they should also stop telling users that there is a security issue by using Google Messages as your SMS/MMS client instead of Mi Messaging. This is simply not true.

So as I suspected originally, this isn't Xiaomi.eu's fault and is something that will have to be fixed on the MIUI end. Hopefully this helps other users that can't explain why SMS isn't working even with correct APN settings.
