Hi, I have the Mi 10 Pro (China version) . Bootloader is unlocked.
I flash TWRP, adb-pushed the MIUI12 Rom and once I install I get this message:

assert failed: update_dynamic_partitions(package_extract_file("dynamic_partitions_op_list"))
Updater process ended with ERROR: 7

Any help would be very appreciated
You choose the right ROM?

Hi, I just updated from MIUI 11 stable on mi10 pro this morning using OTA. I don't see options to open floating windows though. There is no floating window button in recents and I dont have the little pill to drag down from in notifications. Anyone any ideas?

So the stable retains older Android versions while many devices in the betas move to Android 10. I presume the stables will eventually match the beta versions?

OK, I managed to flash xiaomi.eu_multi_MI10Pro_V12.0.1.0.QJACNXM_v12-10.zip , rooting the device using the Chinese TWRP solved it.

BUT - There is a big issue with this ROM:
The camera app is not the Mi 10 Pro camera! No 108MP mode, no 5X, no macro etc...

Have you checked the pro mode? 108mp appears to have been moved there. 5x zoom is there, just hold the zoom button and macro's in the extra options menu

You are correct! :)
I just started using MIUI (11) for the first time yesterday, and today I already have a different UI.
Thanks!

For me it worked following:
  • Download the ROM
  • go to TWRP
  • Choose the file to install
  • wipe dalvik & cache
  • Reboot

That's it, rather easy!
but my mi 8 has on the global stable with arb 1 ..... the procedure and the same ?? can you describe it in detail?
and arb that worries me ..... thanks

Crash when I want to change wallpaper.
Mi9
Upgrade from MIUI 11 stable to 12 stable.

Crash settings > Wallpapers.

Thanks for the new rom, but i have some problems with it, mi phone is a Mi 9T/Redmi k20, i was using the last miui 12 weekly rom than it is fine than stable. I did a clean install with format data, and after a few hours with it, this are the bugs i´ve found: theme app doesn't works, you have to go to settings>theme and when you choose local themes it crush. With Mi Fit, also have problems, i've run 8 km but it marks 15 and gps on the app, doesn't works fine, and not show the itinerary i did. I have to say that always debloat xiaomi browser, mi service, share, move a some else native apps.
Thanks for your work and keep it on.

I get this error after upgrading from stable 11 to stable 12 on Mi9T/K20. It shows up when trying to change the wallpaper.
Any ideas what to do? I flashed the update twice but it's still the same.

I don't think that's possible. I have Mi6 currently on latest BETA. The battery has gone bad and no good replacement. Our device is nearing EOL. I've gotten myself a new Mi 8 with 50% discount during clearance sales.

I am also on Mi 6, but no longer use MIUI. Last time I used MIUI 12 beta battery performance is quite good compared to MIUI 11 stable.
Lucky you had 50% discount, new Mi 8 still being sold at high price in my country. I prefer Mi 9T as replacement.

Thank you for your hard work, I can confirm that on the Mi 9 from miui 11 to 12 dirty flash animations are very laggy and changing wallpaper crash, I believe this is stable beta and not the stable version correct?

The camera app is not the Mi 10 Pro camera! No 108MP mode, no 5X, no macro etc...
How can it be stable then?
