@Poney70 I have the same device as you (Mi 9T 6/64) i am currently with weekly 21.10.13, I see that you are with the 12.5.1 Stable, what are the pros and cons at least based on your usage? Should I change to the stable?

There are no cons. You should switch to the Stable version ASAP. ^^

The cons are probably that you are on MIui 12.6 with beta and stable is a downgrade, so you will loose all your data.

Hey everyone, can someone please confirm which Stable rom version i would need for the "M11 5g global" please.
(Not lite) model number is: M2011K2G

I've grabbed the "eu.multi MI11 V 12.5.9.0. RKBCNXM V12-11" is this the correct version i need. As tbere are so many different MI 11 versions, i just don't want to flash the wrong version. Thanx in advance for any help

I have to Format Data to do that right?
I have also Mi 9T and I switched two or so months from weeklies (after following them for more than half a year) to Stable

Reason - weeklies were no more bringing any valuable update to davinci for me (to the contrary, with every new one there was some small glitch here or there). More important - there were no more Security patch updates for davinci, actually Stable has newer Security patch (Jul, 1) than weeklies

As @Poney70 answered, you don't need to Format Data

Yes, you will downgrade, but wirhout formatting you will NOT LOOSE any data (I didn't loose absolutely anything, user apps, settings, photos or documents)

But I did the following before flashing the Stable:
- wiped Dalwik and Cache
- wiped /data/system/package_cache

However, you may encounter problems with some apps.
If I recall - it was Galery.
Downgrading MIUI from Weekly 12.5.6 to Stable 12.5.1 caused downgrading the built-in Gallery app but they have dofferent databases format or so, and the downgraded Gallery was crashing for me

Then I simply deleted Cache and Data for Gallery from Settings/Apps, reopened the Gallery and it started to rebuild database - it took a while but after that Gallery works perfectly.
And I did not loose any picture with that (pictures are on Internal memory), Gallery just had to index them and prepare thumbnails for faster browsing through your photos

If you encounter a similar problem with another system app (if it was updated with your recent weeklies), try the same

Im on Mi 11 Ultra.
Latest Weekly is just causing me too many issues.

How can I roll back to this Stable? Since I technically have Android 12 on the Phone now, I cant use TWRP, which the stable requires.
Is there a way to install the Stable via Fastboot?
First Install android 11 stock fastboot rom.
Then you can follow the flashing guide on the 1st post

Howdy. Also have the same issue here on my mi9t. Went from weekly to stable, gallery won't open.
Cleared cache, did nothing. Can't clear data, as all of the options are greyed out. Can't unninstall updates to the gallery app, only shows version installed.
Anything I can do, would really want to avoid a clean install, 2 many stuff do reconfigure.

You want to "avoid a clean install" even though it was never optional?...
The second post is very clear about it.

With root or from TWRP you can delete:
/data/user/0/com.miui.gallery
Of corse, double check if this is the right folder.
Take your imagination and experiment things by yourself

In twrp, where to go to get there? Don't want to "wipe" anything without knowing I'm in the right place.
Also, what does that do actually?, been reading that deleting the gallery app can screw things up on the phone, being a system app.

Read the post that I quoted.
I did. Now read the post I linked. It's not optional. If you still insist on wiping data for the Gallery app only, go to TWRP's File Manager and delete the folder /data/data/com.miui.gallery (it's the app data folder, the app itself is not removed).
By downgrading, you're more than likely to have other apps or background services crashing without even knowing it.

Thank you, will try that. So far, that's the only app that is currently not working, everything else that I tested is working just fine.

Like I said, you don't know that for sure. Only a logcat can tell if you have anything crashing in the background.
