Someone with Xiaomi mi 11, how is battery life? I'm having mixed feelings reading reviews and I'm planning to buy one... thanks!

Just about to install this on my Note9ProEU. Why can't we have a full wipe? (Data + System)? I would like to do that to avoid any issues from previous system :)

Thanks!

There is nothing to avoid from previous system .. system formating along with installation package , nothing else to do with system , just follow the instructions ..
Don't think like you're at 2014 ..

Your device has only global rom , so there is no weekly rom for you , only stable rom ..
On stable roms there is no schedule like on weekly .. just wait until new update..

Hi guys, i want to ask. I'd installed Eu Miui 12.2.9 coming from Eu Miui 12.0.8, when I'm on 12.0.8, both sim are working. But for the latest. Other one is not working. Here is the scenario. When i tried to switch the date to sim 1. Sim 1 will work but not sim 2. Vice versa. Even if i clean installed. Same Problem. The other sim is a roaming sim. But why some people work with their device. Thank You

Yes really meaningless without a log
There are lots of comments mentioning bugs yet most of them didn't provide log either. if that is a must, forgive me as I am a new member and don't know how things work here.

It's not a must, but without logs no one can know what the crash is about because we don't have access to your device.

What rom version?
Was it a clean install or dirty flash?

It's decent, as long as you don't activate 120Hz.

Then the display (AOD) will kill the battery.

Coming from Mi 8 Explorer it's a huge improvement.

So, it lasts a day with my usage.

Regards.

Why everytime I try to download the latest stable eu rom for Mi 10T Lite which is v12.0.2 on Sourceforge, it always say No available Mirrors?

Hi everyone,
i received my 10T Lite a few days ago and already got frustraded about the random bootloader unlock timer from xiaomi - if you read this xiaomi, this will already let me rethink to ever buy a xiaomi again! But in the meantime i would like to know if this ROM is really a big benefit for me or if i will regret installing it?

My backround ist coming from an LG G5 with LineageOS 17.1, which was frustrating me more and more (some things are buggy and some not even working) and now i want to have a smartphone with all functions working AND monthly (or as often as possible) security updates and no ads, bloatware or anything else, which is why i stumbled over your community (rom).

Now there a few things which make me kind of nervous if i should stick with the stock EU Rom (currently 12.0.8) or if your stable rom is really stable and doesnt lack of features compared to the stock rom:

  • are there problems with the fingerprintsensor, as i can read here?
  • are there problems with bluetooth, specially with the volume, as i can read here?
  • is this rom 100% compatible with googe play, SafetyNet and Widevine L1? Here i also read about problems with that which would be an exclusion criterion, at least for the first two if three.
  • in the first post it says: "Our ROMs features (Whats not in Global)" and for example "Optimized GPS settings for EU". Since we are already using official EU Rom, do these changes still apply AND make a difference/bennefit?
  • Will i get security updates more often and maybe even longer with this rom, compared to the official?
Over all, i want a debloated and safe ROM without having to constantly worry about something will get broke with the next updates + messing arround with config files or extra tools (magisk, root, etc.) and loosing features of the orig. rom. Is that the current state with your stable Version for my phone?

Thanks to everyone participating here!

On my device, I don't have this issue. My fingerprint works fine.

Mine works fine as well.

You need magisk to get google play certified and Safetynet passed. And if you have already widevine L1, then flashing this rom will also have it.

  • Will i get security updates more often and maybe even longer with this rom, compared to the official?
If you are on Stock Rom Mi 10T Lite EEA Variant, latest version 12.0.9.0, then security updates are more updated here compared to the official. Mine now has Feb. 1, 2021 security patch, which is more updated than stock EEA rom for Mi10TLite which is only January 2021 on version 12.0.9.0

Security patch update depends on Xiaomi Official though.
There are 4 Variants for our device,
Mi 10T Lite EEA
Mi 10T Lite Global
Redmi Note 9 Pro 5g (Chinese variant)
Mi 10i (Indian Variant)
And since updates always release first on Chinese Roms, And Xiaomi eu roms are based on Chinese Roms with added features and language. It's safe to say that you're more updated, not just the security patches, on Xiaomi eu

Why there is no more extra gallery(beauty/more edit function) mod like the one on MIUI 11 on every of MIUI 12 roms? Hopefully dev can fix this because this function is the only reason i stays with eu.

I had a problem that after switching to MIUI 12.5, the sound in the headphones became quieter. Is it a firmware bug or the headphones have become faulty? Also the settings in viper4FX do not help. Mi 10 Lite 5G Phone

Ok, thats a little bit annoying for me cause i already seeing google constantly playing "mouse and cat" with us and the magisk dev causing me very likely to mess arround with a non functional phone from time to time. This is exactly what i dont want anymore - its a pitty/pain in the a** that you have to deal with such a bulls**** today >-<

Which country are you living in? I still dont get newer than 12.0.8. here in germany (Telekom) with my 10T lite.

And since updates always release first on Chinese Roms, And Xiaomi eu roms are based on Chinese Roms with added features and language. It's safe to say that you're more updated, not just the security patches, on Xiaomi eu

So can you or someone else tell something about the longterm support, maybe in retroperspective? Were there phones that were way longer supported by the xiaomi.eu rom compared to the official one in the past?

VoLTE and VoWLAN/WiFi is also no problem with the xiaomi.eu rom?
