I've dirty flashed miui 12.5.3 on a mi 10 (umi) from miui 12.2.10 and it runs better than the previous rom I had on my phone. It's a really nice update.

There's a little bug from miui 12.2.10 I'm still experiencing. After restarting the phone, the clock and the fingerprint turn into black on the lock screen. It's easy to fix. Just changing to another theme and coming back. Maybe, it doesn't happen if you come from other roms. However, it isn't too annoying, I don't usually restart my phone.

In addition, when volume is over 60-70%, the sound gets a bit distorted, but nothing too annoying.

By the way, this is a great update. Thank you for your work!!!

I'm currently running on MIUI v12.1.6.0 and I will be handling over the phone to my other family member. Is there anyway I can reset the phone (wipe data and all installed apps) without losing the MIUI v12.1.6.0 or reflash the ROM?

I suggest you first to flash the new TWRP first. Less hussle...

You can fix it by correction of props. Then safetynet passes and Google pay works.

But unfortunately that's not true for all bank apps. Hence, I'm back on beta EU.

Well... Maybe you are right. But notice, that on 12.0.22 there was no necessity to combine. CTS Profile was Passed and GP worked correctly...

Mi 10 UMI user here.
Safetynet passed
Flashed from 12.2.10 to 12.5 version which is avaible. Used latest 12.2.10 flash with corrected fingerprint so device work with gpay
After flashing all working and its super smooth and i love the change to the ui. For those who want gpay working feel free to just upgrade

U have to manualy download rhe 12.5 versionjust look for the mi 10 on androidfilehost. Download it, boot recocery or use your pc to boot a recovery image and then install the rom

Can recomment newest recovery btw. Just search the mi10 subforum and you find it. Decryption working flaweless. But take time to boot it up

Hey, so I updated my MI 9SE to 12.5.1 and since then after every call (sometimes even during the call) I get a message "System UI isn't responding" and I have to reboot my phone otherwise it reboots itself straight to TWRP. Could you guys please help me with this?

I flashed the new MBTWRP 14-03-2021 for UMI but i cannot boot to TWRP with volume up and power but only from fastboot and pc. Did i do something wrong? I thought this was fixed....it also prompts that user 999 is not decrypted

It's all the fault of dual apps. This twrp decrypts only normal data, user 999 for dual apps data, twrp not decrypt dual apps data. You use dual apps?
If you do not use dual apps, then try to remove it using adb platform tools (adb shell pm remove-user 999), or Terminal app (pm remove-user 999). The error should be gone.

Yes i use dual apps...ok got it...but what about booting on TWRp without pc commands and fastboot...is it possible?

Maybe.. Try to boot into twrp using the fastboot command, and flash twrp from twrp
