Hello
I used fastboot for MI6 some years ago. But I forgot the procedure, which might has changed.

Now I want to buy the MI11 PRO which is on Android 12.
Should I wait until TWRP is working with OTA? Will I loose data if I update to a new TWRP later?

How do I do the fastboot?
Driver needed?

I saw that XIAOMI recommends using the MI Flash Tool for Fastboot. And there is also the MI Tool available.
What do you recommend if I update via fastboot?

Should I later update the TWRP or stay under Fastboot?
What about the menue (.... and save in download ROM) I am not sure how I can copy the file to the folder.

Is there a documentation available=?

Thanks
Olaf
look here for a wonderful :) how to…

if there will be a 100% working twrp and a recovery image it should be possible to update.

thanks. So I can update TWP without loosing my data?
This is always a lot of work.

MI Flash Tools is not working as only old devices are mentioned up MI 4C.
Maybe I can also use Xiaomi Tool V2?

Hello :)
I am using a MI10TPro and I noticed that I can't use anymore NFC (I live in Europe).
Is there anything specific to do? (I can't use my phone to pay at supermarkets, while some of my friends can do it using their phones (Samsung, Iphones, even Xiaomi... but not rooted)
Regards

I will do as described.

And in the future, when a new TWRP gets released which allows OTA, I hope, that I can do the update without loosing my data and a new setup of the phone.
I would not expect, as only the TWRP is getting replaced.

The selling company asked me to wait another month because of that issue with Android 12 and TWRP, but I have doubts that he is right.

Thanks a lot.

Does the stable version come with miui dialer with automatic call recording or with the google dialer?

A user on a Poco F3 group is running Weekly 22.3.16 on his Poco F3 and he mentioned a few things going from stable to weekly:

-Device name is now Poco F3 instead of Redmi K40
-COD Mobile probably now recognizes his device and unlocks ULTRA FPS option.
-Better performance than stable build.

Question, will this change(s) go into the stable build soon?? or at all.
I have mixed feelings about that, I am now fond of the Redmi K40 device name ;)

I am also curious about how it works: does it recognize something in the Poco device or will it call F3 also a "genuine" K40?

P.S. Can you share the F3 user group you are referring to? Thanks!

I have a deja vu… the user cabid had the same problem and we discussed a lot private

In the end he could solve the problem, try to get in contact with him. If I will write the solution, I will get an email from Igor :)
Hi, I just wanted to update you that I have solved the problem... It was quite a stupid problem actually, because the first time I flashed 13.0.1 I did it by clicking the .bat file directly, so that's what ive been doing when trying to update. Today I read your post again and followed closely, and started the file via cmd. I think the issue lied with a file "super" not being sent when I started the file via double clicking. Also on a side note, my fastboot devices has always been a comb of alphabets and numbers, but its working fine, so I think it doesnt matter.
Thanks again for the guide and for helping me on this.

Mi 11 13.0.6

I only recieve a fraction of my incoming texts. I seem to have a much higher probability of recieving them when I just rebooted the phone or just changed cellular type (5G to LTE, LTE to 3G, etc). I have tried putting the SIM card in another phone and I don't recieve the backlog of texts there, so the Mi 11 still somehow recieves them, but I'm unable to see them. I found another thread saying how for them, the texts were hiding in the native Messaging app, but this is not the case for me.

Any suggestions?

Thanks devs for another nice update.
