Hi. Is there a way to release roms and updates in fastboot as well as recovery?

Fastboot method is more convenient for some of us.

The recovery method messes some banking apps if they detect the custom recovery.

Thank you

that would be great in any ways... or release a repack-tool to convert "recovery-roms" into "fastboot-roms" - if that's technically possible...?

It is not fastboot. How to proceed? Procedure changes every year :/
Well, whoopty doo. I guess they forgot to ask for your opinion this year.

To flash the ROM for Xiaomi Mi 11 is now TWRP needed...

Please (!!) go back to Fastboot-Editions, much easier for lots of people and worry-free to flash. Thanks!

Can you please stop being so entitled and stop spamming with this fastboot bullshit?
It's inconvenient, I get it.
But everybody is in the same boat, it will get better once the recoveries finalised and the updates will be almost seamless.

It not about YOU. This is not a make me a personalized ROM based on my own requirements So either take it, or leave it.
Just look how many downloads there are, like 90% of people manage it without moaning.

Horrible, have to search in 191 pages to find the right information for installing?
I have downloaded xiaomi.eu_multi_MI11Pro_MI11Ultra_V13.0.13.0.SKACNXM_v13-12.zip with no .bat in it and no install manual.
One version before it works perfect.

Hey all!

First of all, thanks for the amazing roms! Used them with great pleasure on my Redmi Note 7.
However, with my Redmi Note 11, I've run into some trouble. When I try to flash the rom, I always get error 1. It tells me some partitions could not be found.

(I'm on Arch Linux)
The steps I have taken are: boot into OrangeFox through fastboot:
Code:
fastboot boot recovery.img
Once OrangeFox has booted, I install the OrangeFox zip from my external SD card and reboot the device.

Once rebooted, I format the data and try to install the rom, but every time I get error 1.

Does somebody know what I'm doing wrong?
I flashed the original MIUI rom back with their official tool a few times now. But the same problem keeps occurring.

Yes.
Or, you know, read the first post.

Do you want a refund? Oh, wait...

From the first post
Installation via TWRP:
- Download zip to internal storage
- Updater - Menu (...) - Reboot to Recovery
- Install - Select zip
- Reboot
- Done

????
When I try this -> only chinese characters appear...

Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE (Lisa), Xiaomi.eu Stable 13.0.2

Settings, Passwords and Security, Privacy, tap on Security update shows that Updates have ended for 2109119DG = Lisa, but that's strange, Lisa is only a year old and not on end-of-support (?)

Sorry if that was already discussed

look here…

Do I have to format (not wipe) Data in TWRP
You have to format (not wipe) data in TWRP
- if you install the xiaomi.eu rom for the first time
- if you change from weekly to stable (recommended)
- if you change from stable to weekly (recommended)
- you will loose your data -> make a backup
Thanks for your reply. Presently, I'm running on Android 11, MIUI 12.5.6 stable ROM
Does it implies, I do not need to format my phone?
Can I install this latest ROM(MIUI13_A12)using my existing PitchBlack recovery?
Thanks

why am i getting this prompt? im on flash 3.5.2_10-7 team win recovery project
what am i doing wrong? im sorry i already forgot how to update my phone

Much better way
Maybe is much more work to build fastboot rom but I also would prefer fastboot rom.

Now I need to flash TWRP, check any time TWRP version, go to PC, download and copy rom to my Mi10... :/
Or you could just download the rom using your phone and flash it on the go like the majority of people here...

Latest stable version on Xiaomi 12X running. No bluetooth connection to laptop (Asus TUF FA 2021) possible. When asking for codes, both codes (phone and laptop) are identical, nevertheless is says codes are not identical and refuses connecting. Connections to bt-earphones are working.

I will second that. Please release a fastboot version.
I am not sure when we asked anyone's preference on this matter...
If we wanted opinions, we would have made a public poll.

It would increase build time substantially and double the network bandwidth, not happening.

My time is too precious to me, what's the incentive?
