You just need to install xiaomi assistant on pc,link your bricked phone by usb,the assistant will restore your phone to official rom.then ,your phone will be locked, you need to unlock it again if you want to flash it
Where did you find Xiaomi assistant?

as in the previous Miui 13 A13 the notifications do not work and the apps are stopped. helps turn off facial recognition. disable com.miui.powerkeeper helps somewhat and battery drains. charging malfunction while making a call. only 800ma/h
xiaomi 12

hello, before moving from dev to stable and formatting everything, I wonder if everything seems to work as well and that the notification bugs are well fixed? I've always preferred the stable ones, only this time it came out the same day as the dev and I don't want to take the risk of backing out :) ( Xiaomi 12s ultra )

Installed the 22.12.19/21 on my XM12 pro, can I install the stable update over the DEV build??
i have the same question,i mean, when and how should i farmat?just flash it and then factory restore?or first(how?)format and then flash?.have you already flashed?

Updated my 12S Ultra from 13.0.11 to the first stable 14 ROM. Below a few points on what did not go smooth. Hopefully that might help to the respected deveopers:
1) After the upgrade when my smartphone has booted there was a pop up that something did not go well during the upgrade. The message with details has disappeared a few seconds after I clicked on "details"
2) Launcher settings such as "desktop" shortcuts and folders have not restored. Fortunately I could partyally restore it from Xiaomi cloud.
3) Some menus such as "Device" setting hanged up when I tried to call them out. Fixed by its own after a few hours.
4) Non-native widgets are not visible in menu.
5) Microsoft applications like Teams, Outlook etc cannot start. Tried to clean up cache and even tried to reinstall it from a scratch - nothing helped.

With all that said, I'm now copying my photos on PC in order to reinstall the firmware from a scratch because my business apps are really required to be working.
In any way, before doing the upgrade I realized all the associated risks and writing this post with intention to highlight possible issues for those who have not upgraded yet and for developers who (I bet) worked hard to make it working like a charm :)

Did you check if you had the permission settings regarding device informations enabled in those apps?
I'm asking because I had a similar problem on version 13 that was fixed with that

I just checked after I reinstalled the FW from a scratch. There were no permissions and application did not even try to ask for it. I gave the maximum level of permissions forcivelly, however it did not help. It seems my solution would be to install 3.0.11 back and wait for a more stable release.
UPDATE#1: Don't repeat my mistakes :) After rolling back from 14 to 13 the IMEI will get lost. So, if I understand correctly, you have to follow a procedure to back it up for further restoration after installing the previous MIUI version.
UPDATE#2: So, in order to get my IMEI workin, I installed MIUI14 and here is what I found regarding MS Apps (especially Teams):
1) It does not work after update from 13 to 14 with user's data saved.
2) It does not work after clean 14th installation and application recovered from Xiaomi cloud.
3) It is WORKING after clean 14th installation and application installation from Google Play.
UPDATE#3: After all apps from Google Play were installed, I decided to set up MS apps and... They do not start again. Even without Xiaomi Cloud impact, after some amount of time (or some event I do not understand yet) MS apps stop working as expected. It's becoming more and more interesting. I will dig into that tomorrow. If you have some ideas, please share :)

Not in the online store... Tap the "search" icon on top-right, then scroll down to "Android widgets".

Regarding the widget - that helped. Thank you!
Regarding MS Apps, unfortunately it does not help. I tested this approach and even tried to give maximum permissions. It does not change the situation. I tried one more time after the latest update attempt. Still no luck.
Interesting fact here is that applications like Word, PowerPoint, Excel, OneDrive behave in a similar way. When I try to start them nothing happens. I see a blank screen or Outlook logo at the best and nothing is happening.
If you're interested to troubleshoot the issue, I could collect logs.

Sure, make a log.

Sure, make a log.
Is there a specific instruction I should follow?

Menawhile... I found what is causing my issue. This is another MS application - "Intune Company Portal". Once I removed this app, Teams started. However, this application is required to pass the authentication. So, I will troubleshoot tomorrow and it will end up with 2 possible outomes:
1) I will find the workaround and share here
2) I will collect logs and share with you :)

Thank you for your assistance!
P.S. I tried to give to Company Portal permissions per your advice. It does not help.

I'm very happy with Xiaomi EU, i'm using first stable version on my Xiaomi Lite 5G / Renoir, fresh install, and looks like this rom run very well.

One question about my Mi 11 Lite 5g update

Why, when i check on my device that there is an update, and I click on it, do i get that I have a new update , 14.0.2.0 but with the 13 logo on the background?

Shouldn´t it be the 14 logo already?

Cause with this new update we start on Miui 14, right?

Thx for the patience and your great work guys

Hi,
Device: Xiaomi 12, cupid.
I have upgraded from latest stable miui 13 on Android 12 to this stable miui 14, using fastboot (by executing the .\windows_fastboot_update_rom.bat script with
the device in fastboot mode connected via usb to a Windows PC)
From: xiaomi.eu_multi_XM12_V13.0.41.0.SLCCNXM_v13-12 (latest stable on Android 12)
To: xiaomi.eu_multi_XM12_V14.0.2.0.TLCCNXM_v14-13-fastboot (first stable miui 14 on Android 13)

Everything seems to work perfectly.

Ciao,
Dispositivo: Xiaomi 12, cupido.
A: xiaomi.eu_multi_XM12_V14.0.2.0.TLCCNXM_v14-13-fastboot (primo miui 14 stabile su Android 13)

Tutto sembra funzionare perfettamente.
notifications work? apps only update when you open them? for example whatsapp only receives messages when you open it. is anything with facial recognition on? thanks for the feedback
