Installed 6.6.4 on Mi4 LTE.. Everything is ok.. No FC..

Same here on same device, everything works as supposed and this is great work for an alpha release

Happened the same to me. Seems like some modules make miui 8 go crazy as you say. I had to remove miui tweaks and flat style colored bars, but chrome pie and youtube background playback work well. It would be nice to know other partners experiences.
