Invalid MIUI Firefox isn't able to "add to homescreen"

Firefox isn't able to add bookmark to homescreen. I tried activating the always allow option in security>manage apps>Firefox>other permissions>add to homescreen> allow always. Then restarted the phone as well. But still firefox doesn't save bookmarks to homescreen.

Chrome is able to do so, but problem is homescreen bookmarks made using chrome only open in chrome even if default browser is Firefox.
My company's roster doesn't show in chrome, website only works in firefox. Kindly fix this please.

I am using latest update 12.0.6 on my Mi 10 5G. I have recently moved to Xiaomi after 10 years of loyalty to Samsung.

Are you even using this custom ROM here? Or are you on stock Xiaomi ROM?
No matter. I doubt it's a ROM bug, more likely a Firefox problem.

It is obvious that you don't even use our ROM.
I can tell by the navigation bar, and by the minimalistic permissions management screen.
Anyway, this has nothing to do with this forum.
