MIUI.us has a 4-way reboot in their build so I know it's out somewhere... Is it ever going to be posted here?

I did, but search doesn't work well on the mobile app, and this is the logical place for it to be. Maybe you could send a link?

I need for 1.12.16 too, the 1.12.9 version makes the lockscreen statusbar loose its transparency.

my DS info:
Rom - miui version 1.12.23
Recovery - 4EXT Recovery Touch v1.0.0.3
Radio - 20.4801.30.0822U_3822.10.08.04_M

Try mounting /system manually in recovery before flashing the zip.

zhp0083, I can see you are using the Chinese build, that build is "odexed" (.odex file to each .jar and .apk) and this mod works with "DEodexed" MIUI builds only.
You can either start using a deodexed version of the rom or just use an app called "quickboot" from market.
