Hello,
We own a few Mi 10T Pro phones and we are currently using them for testing purposes and O&M calltests and diagnostics.

All our phones are rooted using Magisk, with Safetynet test ok.

We're having issues trying to lock bands on the phones. We've used existent tools like BandMode, and external apks like NGS or Cellular-Pro (working under root permissions) but none of them seem to lock the specified band.

At last we've tried the built-in Modem Test Tools launching it from the dialpad, but we keep getting a Prohibited red message.

Any clues on what might be happening and why even if we select the band under Bandmode it keeps working on auto?

Thank u.

What we know about frequency band modification is that they are locked by hardware at factory level, and activated only under country requirement laws and regulation.

Hello,
Than you for your reply. We do not want to activate/unlock new bands. We just want to disable certain bands ocasionally, or force 1 of the existent bands. This should be doable as they are equipped with pretty well known qualcomm processors, and the software to do it is there, built-in.

For example we set band 1 (2100) forced so the phone should only be sticking to LTE B1 and Wcdma B1 (mixmode in Spain on some sites). We set it using the built-in software (Bandmode) and it says 'Established ok' when we activate it. But the truth is it just gets backs to auto mode.

Seems like Modem Test Tools might do it, but it says Prohibited when we launch it.

THank you.
