I'm wondering, if you get your phone unlocked by services like ncunlock, can they implant a virus and take over your phone or get all your data/passwords?

I dont think so. After unlocking, the phone will reset, then u can even flash other rom that too, will clear all the data too.

If you have a Chinese version of the device released with HyperOS, it is not possible to unlock the bootloader outside of mainland China and without a level 5 Chinese account.

After that they said they can't unlock bootloader on it and refunded the payment. They couldn't say why just that it can't unlock bootloader. Strange, my 14 pro CN was unlocked by them like 2 weeks ago

Ok they gave me an explanation now and said I had a bad seller from China who had already activated the device in China... I guess it is impossible to do anything about this?

At the first try they said to me the same thing, and that's true because mine arrived from China with PlayStore already installed, so someone did it before shipping.
Then the guy tried something else and did the unlocking. Honestly I don't know what he did

Mine has the PlayStore as well. But the guy still can't do it, sadly.
