New TWRP, 21 languages, Nandroid Backup (1401), Global Rom compatible

2 new TWRP based on the last LR Team twrp with full Android 10 Support, Firedance Edition with full languages Support


Install twrp on every Rom:

Copy the twrp file to your adb Ordner on PC.
Connect your PC with Phone
Go to bootloader (Volume - and Power bottom the same time)

in the window of adb type this:

fastboot flash recovery yourtwrp.img
when ready......
Press Volume+ and Power than reboot into twrp!

Make a backup:

starts twrp go to backup, select all what you see on mine twrp (Boot, Cache, Recovery, System, Vendor, System Image, Vendor Image, Data, Modem and EFS.
When the backup is ready, copy the twrp Ordner from handy to PC

Restore your backup:

First, install the base Rome from which you made the backup. (xiaomi.eu, or global or other rom)
Copy your twrp Backup to the Phone
Install the same twrp you used for the backup
go to twrp and go to restore, after this, you can reboot your Phone and all is fine

Please note important. It must be installed before the restore, the same Rom from which the backup is. No Nandroid backup can be used to switch between different Rom's.


When you have problems with a rom or bootloop`s, install first the latest global tgz (fastboot Rom) file with Miflash, after this install twrp and the rom you like. Here the Link for the latest tgz Files:

When you have a Bootloop you have another Problem. To solve this make a clean install with a "complett Rom" (tgz File) Follow these Steps

1. Step, make a Backup from yor data (apps, Musik, Picture etc.) don`t use twrp for this
2. Step, download here the lates fastboot (tgz File) here for you Phone: http://en.miui.com/thread-5054591-1-1.html
3. Step install the tgz File with MiFlash 2018......download here https://drive.google.com/file/d/1XejjqO32KTJkrdDLfvN4pqKC041forQN/view?usp=sharing
Danger !!!!!!! only select clean_all, than flash the Rom.
4. Step, install twrp for your Phone, format data in twrp and flash the xiaomi.eu Rom you want (I use a otg-usb stick to install the xiaomi.eu Rom)
5. Step Ready

for install twrp you can go two ways,

1 copy the new twrp to your Phone, go in your twrp, tab install and than tab image, select the new twrp.img
2 boot your phone into fastbootmode, connect your phone with usb and pc then open the adb tool/Ordner and flash the img with fastboot flash recovery twrp.img after this tab this in the same screen fastboot screen, fastboot boot twrp.img. The Phone starts new in the twrp, (the Phone make 2 reboots by self)
you can now reboot to recovery, the Phone reboots to the new twrp

What Phone you have?
I have 3 Phone MI8 MI8pro and MI8 explorer Edition, on the MI8 i have installed the same Rom as you global dev there are no Problems on my Phone

Oh sorry,

I should have striven upon the initiation, that before you create over TWRP en Backup, fingerprint and FaceUnlock should disable. This data is backed up by MIUI in the data partition, in the same location where the media is stored. No TWRP stores this data. This can also be seen in the yellow warning message during a backup with TWRP. Basically, I also guess from a backup over TWRP because a reset often causes problems.

Yeah don't make twrp backups with any screen lock measures active...you really should know this by now
