New RCS messages connected but not working

I'm trying to use RCS messages with the Google Messages app but it doesn't work at all.

When I go in the settings it shows that my number is connected to RCS but the app works just like if I wasn't

I've tried everything: contacting my network provider (which does support RCS), clearing the cache and the data of the app, uninstalling Google Messages, turning RCS messages on and off, allowing every single permission, but nothing changed and I still can't use RCS and can only send SMS.



Here's more info that might help you figuring out what's wrong:

Phone: Xiaomi 13
HyperOS by Xiaomi.eu: 1.0.8.0.UMCCNXM Stable
Google Messages version: messages.android_20240708_03_RC05.phone_dynamic
Play Integrity API Checker: MEETS_DEVICE_INTEGRITY and MEETS_BASIC_INTEGRITY but not MEETS_STRONG_INTEGRITY

Stock Rom + Bootloader locked or using some Magisk module

Please install the latest version of the xiaomi.eu module and try again.
You may need to clear your Google Messages data.
