Which player are you using? I'm using Poweramp and you won't see viper as an effect anywhere. You have to enable compatibility mode in viper options and disable dolby in system settings. Also check fx button in Poweramp If you're using it.

Don't use Viper at all, otherwise you may experience In-Call disturbance & you would suffer from unnecessary Noise.
Just my 2 cents.

I did, but when in FX compatible mode, it makes no difference. It works.

well, about my problem, its been solved by updating to oficial rom and then flash the recovery and the wiui rom, now i achive 20hs with 2hs of screen time, and it still remain 44% batery.

Yes you can.
You can choose system in cwm recovery -> advanced. Or you install wsm Tools, there is an option to add "reboot to system 2" to reboot options in mi-Tools Module.

I have some weird reboot problem.
Once or twice a day I have a reboot once it's when I'm calling other time just touching the power button to turn on the screen. It happens only since last wiui 4.2.14. I installed with full 3 wipes and original kernel.

I try several attempts to install 4.2.14 in my mi2s with developer edition rom + miui 010oc kernel and i can,t do it. All the times after flashing, my version is 4.2.28 and my kernel 010oc.

Changelog looks promising Battery life on 4.1.24 is really good after I formated the cache (no idea why and how...). I would like to know if there a way to kill orientation process as it drains 15% of my battery or more. And Wajk if you can, add Alarm Time fix in your next release! I think everyone needs it!

Flashed, first time trying with MiCore 010. Seems much better, at least the deep sleep is A LOT better (009 has a little deep sleep despite my phone is not in used). But I haven't used it for full. We'll see how long the battery lasts vs default xiaomi kernel.
