[rom]-- Smiui Rom -- Ultimate Custom Rom --[multilang,stable/weekly]

connect your phone with USB and open command prompt - type ->
fastboot flash recovery "TWRP-image-filename.img"
fastboot boot "TWRP-image-filename.img"

TWRP should boot and you can access all your files..

was sMiUI causing your problems ?

I tried this procedure but after the last command it says:
"OKAY
booting..."
and gets stuck like that.. now i dont know if I should turn off the phone (and maybe brick it?)

however, you cant update smiui with it, right? how do u go back to Mi recovery each time to update rom?
NO it works withoout problems... in my phone displays a message that cant mount X but after a few seconds it works whatsmore i befeore the twrp support i had flashify an app that lets you change recovery without reboot

Yup, I also have info about mounting, device is busy blah blah... But it flash rom in no time.
If phone stays in MI logo for more than 5-10 minutes then I would be worried :p

I would recommend you guys flashing sMiUI for aries with the MIUI Updater App ... some users reported that this is not possible because they get an Error, but Im working on that and try to fix that.

I got - finally- twrp 2.8.6.0 installed.
But the interface is all calorful and completely different from the one i saw in the forum.
And the biggest problem is: it's in chinese I can't change to english.

(I can't find the Advanced>themes menu, as suggested)

Use a themed zip, placed in TWRP/themes/ Google it

On Mipad everything is ok except that just after booting the system updated google keyboard and keyboard was broken.
After an uninstall/reinstall it works.
Thanks.

sick ... smiui + kernel Adiutor + Greenify

What have you hibernated in Greenify? I test setting in kernel auditor where you have all cores online and frequency is decreased to 1.4 from 1.7 ondemand. Setting to have ondemand / noop plus more entropy makes it awesome on Mi2s.

@Addamas ..
Hibernate almost everything I could, and some system applications ..
My kernel setup is ...CPU max 2457mhz, CPU min 729MHz, conservative, Multicore energy savings is on, GPU Max 389mhz, u/i scheduler cfq ...
This is a setup that saves the battery, I do not play games so my full CPU power is not needed. Am very pleased with this setting, absolutely suits my needs ... sometimes felt that the performance lowered, but it is unnoticed.

I updated Google Keyboard via Google Play, and the keyboard kept FC'ing on mipad too... A reboot fixed it!

Which app do you use to set these cpu values? Cpu adjuster doesn't have conservative
