Root on Stock Rom (germany Mi11)

Hi Guys,
I'm switching from Oneplus Nord to the Xiaomi Mi11 and would like to know how to get root?
On the Oneplus I flashed Magisk in the recovery and reinstalled it in the inactive slot after each OTA via Magisk.

Does it still work? Can the bootloader stay closed? Which guides do i have to follow to get root?

I have no idea about the stock ROM, never rooted it.

The process of rooting is the same, and from what I know you can lock the bootloader on stock ROMs. But to be honest if you go and unlock the bl, install EU ROM.. These EEA and Global ROMs are garbage right now.

Maybe you know that already, maybe not, to unlock bl in Xiaomi devices you need a tool, and if you do all correctly you have to wait a week until that tool allows you to unlock .

Flash Magisk with TWRP and i'm fine? And when i update the rom with TWRP i also install Magisk again before boot, right?
But what are the differences between stock and eu rom?

You can have a look at the guide yes, but all you need to do is to download the TWRP for venus, ( do NOT install it ),
and then fastboot boot your_twrp.img. The ROM will take care of the rest by itself.

Regarding Magisk, yes.

BTW, there are way too many differences to list here. Basically, the EEA 12.5.2.0 ( I believe is the version now ),
is MIUI 12+some backports ( it is even a downgrade from 20.0.13.0 ). The Global 12.5.x is the same story.

( I'm myself from Germany, tested all EEA versions already+Globals, all ****** )

EU ROM is based on China ROM so you have all MIUI 12.5 features set + more .
Also, don't worry, EU ROM is fully translated to German too.
