Hello everyone, I'm a Mi 11 Ultra (star) user and I've been using MIUI.eu 14.0.13.0 custom firmware for a few years now. I'm used to fixing the GPay module every few months and my experience is pretty flawless.
I've thinking for a few months now about updating it for Hyper OS, but I have a few questions that have never been answered on this forum :
- will my back screen still work on Hyper OS? I'm worried that if it is a general ROM, it will not have the options for using the back screen of Mi 11 Ultra.
- will GPay still work after the change? I am worried about it because updating it to Hyper OS is rather simple but I don't want to reset my phone to go back to MIUI 14 if I have this problem.
- will my battery drain very fast? After 4 years with Mi 11 Ultra and 67w charging, the battery lasts difficultly all day long and I'm worried that it's going to get worse whereas Hyper OS is supposed to improve battery life. Also, when I let my phone rest on a table for 30MIN or so, I find it a little hot on the screen and the battery dropped about 2-3%. Does Hyper OS reduces the numbers of background processing apps?
What do you guys think? Any suggestions, opinions or advices are welcome!
