Sim Card tray stuck

Just received my Xiaomi Mi3, but the sim card tray is stuck. I tried to force it open but it's not working, didn't want to force it hard, afraid it might spoil. Anyone experience this issue?

I've already send an email to Xiaomi, but I thought I'd post here to see if any xiaomi mi3 user is having the same issue.

I had the same, pushed a case opener tool in between the tray and the back side and I got it open. (the back side can bend quite a bit) Strange though. Now after I did this it works as intended and opens ok with the provided tool.

Proper way is to push the Sim tool down in the hole and Sim tray will pop out!

A friend of mine had the exact same issue! The sim card tray ended up bending the yellow pins and he had to send it back for repairs.
