Hi my friends, I just bought a xiaomi 14 European version.
After first run, it ask me to update to version 1.0.14 of hyper os.
After that I see that the Google update are very old.
This is a problem because many app require updated Google patch for safety and protection.
Tried with manual check for firmware but it doesn't find any newest version.

Tried to download official OTA update :
miui-blockota-houji_eea_global-OS1.0.21.0.UNCEUXM-OS1.0.22.0.UNCEUXM-d11ce9a4fd-14.0.zip

Downloaded it and put in the main root
Went to update and choose local file
I got impossible to upgrade "can't flash this rom"

Tried to download another version:
miui-blockota-houji_eea_global-OS1.0.20.0.UNCEUXM-OS1.0.21.0.UNCEUXM-ccc17b7eb0-14.0.zip
Also nothing change.. can't update

I'm on Italian region, tried to modify to San Marino, Germany, united Kingdom.. nothing

I don't know how to solve this.
It's s problem because I can't use some official administrative application.

Thanks for any kind of suggestion

Same exact situation, same region. I reached out to Xiaomi support via chat and I was told to be patient, that it's only a matter of time before I'll get the update.

However, it's annoying to sit on this old build and not being able to update to a more recent release. Not saying I demand to get HyperOS 2 now, but why shouldn't I receive a newer build?

Dude, I managed to OFFICIALLY upgrade to version 1.1.4.0
These are the steps to follow:

1) Download the ROM from this link https://miuirom.org/phones/xiaomi-1...JdWh_z0owbXjqg_aem_wrXTRsI6Xtoh1KQXeesTnQ#EEA , and set it aside

2) Go to settings/system info, tap on the logo, three dots at the top right, "download the latest package".

3) start downloading, it should be in the Download\downloaded_rom folder

4) go to that folder, select the file that is downloading (it doesn't matter if it has downloaded it all or not) and click "rename" and copy COMPLETELY the name of the file (including the .zip extension), then click cancel (so you don't rename it)

5) go to the folder where you first downloaded the latest firmware from the link, select it and rename it COMPLETELY with the same file name as the one you are downloading (including the .zip extension)

6) wait until you are at 99% of the download, wait 2-3 seconds then go to the folder (always keep the file manager open in multitasking in the download folder) where the fw is downloading and DELETE IT, then IMMEDIATELY, go to the folder where you saved and renamed the new FW and MOVE it to the downloaded_rom folder (my advice is to put the fw new in the download folder, which is the parent folder of the one where it downloads the fw, so you are quick in moving from folder to folder).

7) go back to the update app (always with multitasking) and you will see that it will be analyzing the file and then it will start with the update.

8) wait until it asks you to restart.. and voilat!

9) honestly I would then REDO the "DOWNLOAD THE LATEST PACKAGE" service again, so that it DOWNLOADS the latest European FW by itself and "overwrites" it.

These steps work for me and for another guy that I helped on Italian forum.

Hope also you guys get it.

I think it work also with future firmware

Thanks, it worked!
Got 1.1.4.0.VNCEUXM installed with this method.
Out of curiosity, do you have the visual issue on the keyboard I highlighted in the attached screenshot?

Yes, I've the same glitch after flash, but it's extremely easy to fix.
Tap on the options in the left in the top row of the Gboard and choose "resize".
You could resize the low frame upper the arrow and everything is fine.

This is probably the wrong forum here, its about the Xiaomi.EU ROM, for official ROM theres the official forum too

To remove the back / hide button over the keyboard Go to settings> home screen> system navigation and select hide full screen indicator
