O meu mi 9 está com o mesmo problema, na stockl, em xiaomi.eu beta e xiaomi.eu estável ainda persiste. Esperando uma solução.
É impossível fazer upload de vídeos com mais de 15 segundos nas histórias do Instagram.
Somente a primeira parte do vídeo é publicada.

Same here, Mi 9T Pro, stock Rom, always post just the first 15 seconds, every stories after that keep failing

I installed beta 20.4.30 with MIUI 12, and the issue is gone. Now on my Mi 9T Pro I can upload video more then 15 seconds to Instagram stories without any problem

I guess you lose your glasses to not seeing the blue MIUI 12 icon on xiaomi.eu forum. ^^
I was using Google to directly jump into this thread, as I'm really annoyed, that still after 6 months it's not possible to use a feature like that on a modern smartphone...

I'm using Xiaomi.EU firmware, not China beta. For me, it's working well.

20.4.30 and 20.5.7 are not fixed for instagram problem. it still persists
