I have this 3.2.1.0 TWRP and the latest xiaomi.eu rom. It's impossible to encrypt the phone and I'd like to know if it can be related to the TWRP or if it's just a problem in the xiomi.eu rom.

I can only tell you that there is no relationship with TWRP ... Regarding the rom you have to ask the developers. I use my custom MIUI roms!

Does the encryption work on your custom rom ? (be careful if you try cause you may have to "format your data" if it fails like for us).
I asked the dev already with multiple thread but there's no reply from them.

I confirm that the 3.2.1 twrp @IceMan_it works perfectly for the update to Android 8 (Oreo)
