Hey guys, as the title says I'm unable to even update the device into the DEV rom.
I've bought the MI5 PRO on alegrecompra (dot) com and they managed to install the global multilanguage, so right now this is the MIUI version that I have: MIUI GLobal 7.3 | Stable 7.3.5.0 (MAAMIDD)
As I want to install the xiaomi.eu rom, I've tried to do this 2 different things:
-Download the DEV rom from here > http://en.miui.com/download-299.html. Then I've tried to update it via Updater App, but says "Can't verify update". I've put the rom on the root and on a "downloaded_rom" folder. But still, impossible to update it.
-Another thing that I've tried is to ask Xiaomi for Unlocking permission. I've received a SMS etc but when the MiUnlock tool starting to check the device, it gets stuck on 50%. I've disabled the antivirus (just in case) and run it as an administrator.
I've followed many threads but I'm still unable to even put the DEV rom to unlock the bootloader in order to install TWRP and xiaomi.eu rom.
