Hey guys,
I'm currently using my Mi MIX running the awesome MIUI 10 ROM (8.8.23) provided here. Yesterday i've gone through the settings and found out that you can encrypt your data. So I decided: "Why shouldn't I do this, there is no drawback with encrypting the data. It just makes it kinda safe."....
Today I wanted to update the ROM to the new released version (8.8.30). Now heres the problem: I'm still able to boot into Recovery (TWRP 3.2.1) but logicaly I get asked for my encryption password/PIN. But entering the right password won't work, it still says the Storage Partition is encrypted. As an result I can't update my system anymore.
Is there any solution to this? I really don't want to wipe my data and reinstall all of my Apps etc. because it takes aproximatly one day till everything is up and running again.
I already thank you for your helpful anwers.
Best regards
MagicDom
