Xiaomi 13 Ultra global edition bands are very limited

The bands were reduced significantly from the 13 pro global edition which has the bands

This makes the Xiaomi 13 ultra global edition have reduced service in America. The 13 pro global has almost all Tmobile bands. It's a shame Xiaomi made this decision to reduce the bands because I was looking forward to getting the 13 ultra. I don't understand how the 13 ultra can be called "global" when the reduction in bands makes the phone unusable in many parts of the world.

This is a shame. I do not understand why the 13 Pro has support for both eSIM and more bands while the Ultra doesn't.

Sorry to necro a few month old thread to ask probably a stupid question. I was looking at the 13 Ultr and saw the same thing right before I bought it as Princejmy saw, the 13 Pro has all the bands and the Ultra seems to have lost them I bought the global version phone for these extra LTE bands, but I just got worried that installing the .eu ROM that is the chinese base might actually lose those extra LTE bands and change them to the ones the CN version phone has available. Does the .eu ROM leave the modem firmware alone and so I will keep the global version LTE bands?

Band support is affected/regulated by hardware. The ROM won't change it in any way.

Did you end up getting the 13 Ultra? How does it work on Tmobile.

I was looking into this as well and the china version might work better as it has LTE band 12 (but not 2 or 66).
If I recall, for Tmobile 12 and 71 and pretty important so at least having 12 should help.
For 5G n71 is pretty important but the phone does support 41, so you might get some 5G.
I believe they are adding 77 in the future so things may get better.

ATT prob has better support but 5G coverage is pretty non-existent and since ATT doesnt sell the phone (not whitelisted) they probably wont allow it on the network. You might get away with it on one of thei MVNOs.

I don't care too much about super fast 5g, as long as I can get a decent LTE signal.

I think it should work fairly well in most of Europe and Asia.
