Xiaomi.eu Updater crashes after installation of Open Gapps

As described in thread title I installed Open Gapps (nano) via TWRP. That worked well, I now have Google Play Store available on my phone but now the Xiaomi.eu System Updater crashes everytime I open it. Anybody made the same experience?

do not install gapps on our ROM.. they are already included..

Okay. Except the google play store (as in my other thread)
