Hi guys,

I've noticed something weird - the application Xiaomi service framework is constantly connecting and sending data to a chinese IP 42.62.94.2, port 443. It's impossible to restrict the data usage for this app (the only option is to restrict MOBILE data access, but as soon as you connect to wifi, it's sending data again).

Does anyone have an idea, what's this about?

Screenshots are attached, my phone is Xiaomi Redmi PRO, MIUI 8.6, 7.6.10 BETA

Thanks

yes you have Chinese company mobile phone with Chinese services and servers in China...
its normal so dont panic....

Still, I would like to know, what information is being transferred and why.
And there's a bonus - Xiaomi Service Framework has permission to send and receive SMS, and there is no way to turn it off. That's not really transparent, I'd say

Try to ask directly to xiaomi on the official forum.
As they do not publish the source code of their softwares.
