Xiaomi X10 robot vacuum cleaner not responding or turning on out of box

Just got my Xiaomi X10 vacuum cleaner, followed the instructions for quick startup but the vacuum cleaner doesn't react to anything. It's on the dock now for like 5 hours, the power and home buttons are "breathing", but that's it. I can't turn it on, nor reset it. Also the app can't find it so I can't set it up. Any ideas?

First you need to unlock the bootloader of the vacuum cleaner
