MIUI v5 Preview

MIUIv5 for Mi2 will be RELEASED 3.3.1..! thats a date when MIUIv4 ICS will die...
MIUI V5 for other devices with MIUI 4.1 will be released in late March or early April

Wondering, has there been any news about the opensource part of MIUI they announced a few weeks (months?) ago? I wouldn't be surprised if device's like the Galaxy Nexus and Nexus 4 would get direct ports from the Xiaomi m-2 version close to the official release.

It will block your Mi2 by Xiaomi..
Dont try this at home..!

Yes. Let me make it clear and very clear.

If you flash an Alpha build by Xiaomi and your not on the whitelist. Your phone will be locked and frozen till its released for everyone.

That's really cool, but I wouldn't believe either that Xiaomi might change their whole presence.
Is it faster and less ram-hungry than v4?

When you open the folder, its 3 columns. The folder closed is a 3x3 with all the little icons.

Empty = good in some sense. The layout looks fine. 4 columns would be crushed together. Maybe on bigger screens its different. I dunno, seeing how MI2 has the only v5.
