No. I flashed latest TWRP image via ADB and fastboot mode

...but there is flashable zip version as well, you can try to flash this via recovery or via updater app

The link for twrp Is a zip file just downloaded from flashify and I got it, but is 3.0.0.0 not 1 and it isn't materialized theme

Yes as you mentioned your system is out of date better is to start with a mi flash of the China development then you can update safely.



Just update twice 5.12.17 as you would do as before it will do the right partitioning.
Then update with 6.2.25 it will install twrp automatically.

I tried doing it like you said but this happened:

thanks to the advice Nicoff i managed to install the TWRP and get the root with supersu in my mi4lte.

For the new 6.2.25 Roma are undecided whether or not to install. I did not understand if there is some bugs. my English is to google ...

It's not necessary to install before the twrp?
