yes i had it officially unlocked. also had some weekly roms installed already, so not sure what is happening now (and worse not sure how to get the phone back running)

I also installed rom for MI4S which caused no problem,. This redmi note 3 pro isn't my phone, so not sure what is going on

I used to have bootloader re-lock. Luckily, it was soft bricked, then i unlock it again and it was ok. So you may try unlock it again.

When I start I get the Miu logo, statusbar screen loop = phone tries to install the rom (which it can't)
I can start fastboot, but not able to do a lot due to locked bootloader
and I haven't found any use for the recovery mode yet.

The step will enable fingerprint wakeup while screen off. Only tested with Mi5, though.
Unfortunately, setting lost every reboot.

You have unlocked your phone before, so just do the same thing again. ( by officially unlock bootloader).
You can get fastboot mode, it should be no problem.

Follow these steps
1. From fastboot boot into edl. google it
2.then from edl flash china developer rom
3.Unlock
4.Flash twrp
5.flash any ROM now

Have you tried to unlock it again? If you can't, I think you should install a china dev rom through edl, unlock the phone, flash twrp and then go back to xiaomi.eu rom. Someone here had the same problem but I can't remember who. Try reading the last couple of pages on previous week, I think you will find it.

Redmi Note 4, after flashing the latest dev over the chinese stock rom, I have FC with Google play store, and I can't deinstall nor install it. And on top I can't copy something to SD Card no more. Any solution? TIA

Try to change language of rom to English, clear dalvik and cache from twrp.

Of course not.. It's not battery friendly and user can unlock it in pocket..
So DIY if you want..
