Going from EU ROM to Eu Rom, dirty flash, wiping only Dalvik/Art Cache and Cache. Going from completely different Roms, complete wipe. Do everything via TWRP.

I'm sure there are tutorials on YouTube if you want to see someone else do it rather than following a text tutorial.

Just follow the Reddit instructions and you're good.

Me too, same issue on redmi note 3 sd

Clock in the top bar stops. While in setting everything is set correctly


And yes gps locking takes a very longtime to engage. Sometimes even apps with gps permissions dont trigger gps activation

Hello anyone notices continuous network instability and activity on Redmi Pro?
Maybe also Redmi Note 4 or other MTK devices.

In particular there are disconnections, much idle activity, and the phone switching back & forth to 4g in precarious reception conditions, this happens dozens of times if you are in the right place.

but I'm having problems with the microphone, for both video recording and voice chat.
often the voice is disturbed and there is background noise.
is there any fix for the problem? someone else has the same problem?

I can confirm (Mi5s) the problems of this ROM with Chrome. Tried Stables (55), Beta (56), and Canary (57). All crash. Chromium-based browsers like Yu Browser also crash, as do the embeddable chrome component so I really think this is a problem with this ROM (didn't happened with the previous one). It doesn't happens with Firefox.

Edit: curiously it doesn't happen with Opera, which also uses Chrome engine.

i have installed xiaomi.eu_multi_HM4Pro_6.12.29_v8-6.0.zip but notice that battery drains faster, brightness oscillates with no apparent reason (gaming) and ringing sound lower. So went back to 6.12.22 . Thank you

Hello. I bought a Xiaomi redmi note 3 pro 3GB RAM/32 GB ROM, from gearbest. The bootloader was unlocked, the ROM was a miui 5.1.1 Android (vendor ROM). I installed regular twrp (lastest) and installed zip file 6.12.22 ROM from here. Did a factory reset before install the newsletter ROM. When i reboot system, i tried to choose portuguese language (did the same steps with 6.12.29 and with English US language), when i get the sign mi acount, the phone gets an error and i cannot sign in. I can bypass this step, but in the end i cannot enter settings (always force close). If i try to unistall a APP (draging the icon to the garbage basket) the phone reboots. I read a lot on several sites and i cannot find a solution. I'm thinking of try to install global development offical rom, enable USB debug, install twrp again and flash 6.12.29 from here without a factory reset, just wipping cache... Could you please help me? Thanks a lot, guys...

i had this error few weeks ago. try fastboot China Dev.: http://en.miui.com/a-234.html unlock bootloader then Install twrp and xiaomi.eu weekly.

Do you recomend China development ROM? Whey not global version? This ROM permits choosing English? After install a offical rom, i can unlock bootloader just with fastboot command, right? Does this need a full wipe before installing xiaomi.eu weekly? Tank you...

Recommend you flash an Official rom by EDL mode. Boot that rom first.
Then unlock your bootloader officially before you flash xiaomi.eu rom.

Nobody here cares about the hassle of using a device with unofficial unlock!

Edit: - Also wipe data before flashing this rom, when coming from official rom.

Tank you. I don't know how to see the bootloader unlock method. I asked gearbest, but the ONLY answer os that the phone cames with vendor ROM...
I can put phone on EDL mode.
Witch miflash version do you recomend to flash ROM?
I read that to use mi oficial unlock tool i must install China development ROM, not global, correct?
Can you give me a link with the detailed steps to do it? (Just in case, i don't want to forget any important step...
