Detected another problem on Mi MAX PRO. With the processor. Seems the Cortex A72 only show at 1.4GHz instead of 1.8GHz. And I only got 61k in AnTuTu. That and by the looks of CPU-Z makes me think the A72 cores don't even start.

So, to sum up the problems with the updated release for Mi MAX PRO, which solves the battery drain, the following remain:

- back camera crashes when the flash is set to OFF
- Bluetooth music playback interruptions (like 0.5s every aprox 2 min)
- CPU A72 cores report incorrect values and may not work at all

Hi again mate,
I really don't have your problems.
In cpu z shows as on your image but in antutu I make 86k,which never happened before.
Don't have interrupts over bluetooth connection (mi sports headset).
And camera works great.

P. S.
I had also 61k in antutu but with the first rom with battery drain. Now the phone running great!
I suppose some old files still exist in your system.

Did you use below adb command for flash TWRP?

fastboot flash recovery twrp.img

...and after that you have to reboot to TWRP with below adb command then flash our ROM:

fastboot boot twrp.img

Global roms never will be better than roms by xiaomi.eu, because global roms are the worst thing in the world.

i installed xiaomu.eu from past 4 weeks on Mi5 and Unfortunately My Volte in Indian now working and i am requesting from past 4 weeks and no body listening me and i came back to Global and VoLTE working fine even in china dev also, but xiaomi.eu is missing some thing

Is it recommended / good to wipe all partitions and to format data & media?
Using miui7 global stable at the moment on mi Xiaomi Mi5.

I just did a clean install. Processor now reports fine, but camera error is still present. Can't take photos with flash off.

Even with the latest build wifi MAC keeps changing every time you reboot the phone,without using SuperSu or any root method.No other issues like Sim detection.
Also you can't take pictures with Hdr , you get "can't connect to camera" right after taking the picture.

So, 1,5 days with 7.2.9 on Mi4s:

• only little cores are working
• no access to microphone in third-party apps (WhatsApp etc)
• sounds became quieter
• HDR doesn't work (camera fc)
• wifi mac-adress changes after each reboot

Need some fixes, I think

TWRP version not supported one.

either you mess up with TWRP for7.0 one with 5.1 rom or TWRP for 5.1 with 7.0 rom

Yeah, useless to cry in here. I believe Xiaomi.eu did their best to provide this rom even Xiamoi official rom is currently suspended

Try other camera app to see is the problem is with driver or the app itself.

That means incompatible TWRP version.

Do you have Mi Note Pro (Leo) device, right?

This is the latest version of TWRP for MiNote Pro. It must be compatible with Android 7 based MIUI for sure.

On Mi5... thats not an update! With all the new bugs and battery drain its more a downgarde -.- verry sad...

i was hopeing that the batty drain from last dev version was fixed a little bit, but it is so bad now!!! (fix @ previos dev version was to disable 4g) not helping anymore....
