Dear all,

This forum is unable to provide support or guidance related to the iSmart XiaoFang (DaFang) and related cameras sold for Chinese market only. If you need after sales services please contact your reseller directly. Any messages about the camera posted to the forum will be deleted.

Thank you.

Hi there!
Call me nosey?
but I am a little curious, I gather the forum management cannot provide assistance over this. but if my time with smartthings has taught me anything at all, it has taught me that users helping each other can be the biggest asset to a community like this.
so respectfully, could I ask why posts of this nature might be deleted?
please understand, this is not a plea
or a request for a change of heart
it's just me, trying to understand.
thanks for a very useful forum

Hi Nosey :)

Generally speaking I fully agree, the community helps each other, however in the case of this product there was (at the time) no solution viable to maintain the sales or support of the product. That is the reason the thread got deleted regarding the Xiaofang 1080p. As we recalled the product from stock as well, it made no sense to have dissatisfied customers / users on the forum. A message was posted in regard to the matter immediately after the thread was removed. I believe there is some people reporting that the cameras can work now, additionally iSmartAlarm will unlock them with a valid order id from Mi.com or official sellers.

Hopefully that clears it up for you.

Ah! thanks for your reply :)
being new here, it seemed a little odd ;)
thanks for the explanation ;)
love and peace!

Hi,

Yes I am here in Shenzhen for many years now. Unfortunately no plans to work with anyone at the moment.

Cheers,

Mark

I have another problem with Dafang Camera. I come from Italy and I have a good connectivity. The video streaming speed jump from 75Kb/s to 105Kb/s and the video and audio is not played fluently. Someone has the same issue? And someone knows a solution? Thanks Giuseppe from Italy
