When's the Xiaomi Mi 8 coming out?..

Yeah i love my Mi5 men i have all the features the 2018 phone's have.

Xiaomi.eu is really great, one of the best out there.
I like a fresh install it just feels good for me and never had to report anything majors.

Because i see posts of Mi5 users having troubles that i never had.

Btw mi5 was my daily driver for 2 years untill last month, I changed to mi8... mi5 was one of the best phones I ever had.. still is my backup phone laying in the drawer

It seems to me "Redmi note 4 MTK" (nikel) is facing a fatal problem for this version and which is after updating when the device turns on it doesn't show any app icon or even notification bar anything. Which lefts the phone unusable. Although, it shows power menu when I press the power button.
Did anyone update this phone successfully? if so let me know. And is It Fixable? Please let me know.

Hi guys thanks for endless efforts first of all. On my Mi5s i cannot install any beta after 8.8.3 cos every followers versions cause the screen get on and off every 2 sec. I cant do anything so I can't take a screenshot of the logs.
There is something wrong somewhere cos i get we are several people suffering this problem. Just to let you know if it is possible fixing it. Thanks in advance.

Do you have issues when trying to install this update through TWRP Recovery? OTA Updater? Or even just trying to reboot into recovery normally through the reboot menu?
Every time i have tried the above methods, i get a blank screen, with nothing for ages, then i have to restart my Device (Mi Max Hyrogen) So i am stuck, on the 8.8.6 Rom, which is not good. Not sure what is going on, with it, but i've never experienced this in any Xioami Rom before. Are you having the same issues and is anybody else reading this having the same issues as me? If so have you fixed it? and if so how?

Where did you get that update? As far as i know nikel update was suspended.

adb logcat > log.txt

I ran the code but it's just saying waiting for device and nothing's happening then i ran "adb devices" and it say unauthorized device! it never showed this. What seems to cause this?

Never formatted data in TWRP, i usually install through updater by the "select the file" method after downloading the Rom myself from surgeforce. Always works for me, i never lose any files this way, and latest Rom installs fine. But not this one?? Very odd, tried every method of booting into recovery, just to install the Rom, but nothing works! Just get a blank screen, then i have to boot the phone manually. Evened tried using a reboot pro app which i paid for a while back from the play store! But nothing! I'm really stuck. May have to use fastboot method and start from scratch if i can't find a way to boot to recovery. Don't really want to use this method, as i'll have to redo all my apps and everything, G account, etc..Anyone have any ideas??

Got the same thing, went back to 8.8.9 and it's all crap now, can't even op dialer, can't text! (Sms) and this database error keeps coming
How to fix this??

Installed TWRP through the normal method, on my device, i never use windows.

I have a Redmi Note4x on 8.8.23. Today I needed my navigation App (Android version by TomTom, called 'Go'.)
In less then a second it closes with an error. I tried to make screenshots of the error summary.
Any suggestion? Any way, thanks in advance!!

The problem seems to have solved itself. The App Store came with an update for this app this evening. Now the App works as to be expected.
